Giza Water and Wastewater Company

Giza Water and Wastewater Company serves Giza Governorate, the western half of Greater Cairo, with a population of several million spread across dense urban districts, new desert cities such as 6th of October, and rural areas along the Nile. Its water stations range from large surface-water plants to compact groundwater units.

In 2009 Metal Home for Industry supplied and installed water storage tanks, piping systems, specialised steel fittings, and electromechanical equipment at Giza water stations. Our workshop rolled the large-diameter pipe, formed the cones, elbows, and flanges, fabricated the epoxy-lined tanks, and our site teams installed the mechanical package and connected it to the pumping equipment.

Pump-room and header work in an operating station demands exact fit-up, which is why we fabricate pipes, fittings, and tanks under one roof and trial-fit assemblies before delivery. The Giza project, together with Qalubia in the same year, is our principal reference for complete station mechanical works in Greater Cairo.
