Project overview
Veolia Water Systems, part of the Veolia group, is a global leader in water and wastewater treatment technology, designing and delivering treatment plants for municipalities and industry on every continent. Its projects are engineered to international standards and its suppliers are qualified against detailed technical specifications.
In 2005 Metal Home for Industry fabricated high-capacity carbon-steel water filter tanks, 3,000 mm in diameter, under contract to Veolia Water Systems for the Orascom construction project in Algeria. The vessels were built to Veolia's drawings and specification at our factory in Cairo, epoxy-lined, hydrostatically tested, inspected, and exported to Algeria for installation in the treatment plant.
Qualifying as a vessel supplier to Veolia was a milestone for an Egyptian fabricator and remains one of the strongest endorsements of our quality system. It underpins the confidence of our municipal water clients in Egypt.
Scope of supply
- Supply of high-capacity water filter tanks (3000 mm in diameter) for the Orascom construction project in Algeria, contracted by Veolia Water Systems (2005).
