Trella Transportation & Services

Trella Transportation & Services is an Egyptian transport and logistics company operating truck fleets on the long desert routes between the Nile Valley and the Western Desert oases. To keep its vehicles fuelled on these routes it developed its own fuel distribution stations in Kharga and Dakhla in New Valley Governorate.

Between 2020 and 2022 Metal Home for Industry supplied 39 m³ carbon-steel fuel storage tanks and the complete equipment package for the Trella station in Kharga Oasis, including the lighting poles, safety barriers, fuel islands, and grates, followed in 2022 by multiple 39 m³ tanks for the Dakhla Oasis station. Tanks were built to EGPC-approved designs, pressure-tested, coated for buried service, and transported over 600 km to the oases.

Delivering a complete station kit to a remote desert location, where nothing can be sourced locally, demonstrates the value of a single fabricator that makes the tanks, canopies, structures, and steel accessories together. The Trella stations are our most complete fuel-station references.
