Cairo Co. for Road Contracting

Cairo Co. for Road Contracting is an Egyptian contractor specialising in road construction, asphalt paving, and related civil works. Road builders operate fleets of pavers, rollers, trucks, and asphalt plants that consume large quantities of diesel and must be refuelled from on-site storage that moves with the project.

In 2020 Metal Home for Industry fabricated 8 m³ and 23 m³ carbon-steel fuel storage tanks for the company. The tanks were built as above-ground units with lifting lugs and saddles so they can be relocated between work sites, fitted with fill, suction, vent, and gauge connections, and pressure-tested and painted in our workshop.

Site fuel storage for contractors has to be robust, transportable, and quick to commission. This order illustrates the mid-size day-tank range we supply to construction and infrastructure companies alongside the larger station tanks.
